The Grand Prix Stakes is a Brisbane Racing Club Group 3 Thoroughbred horse race held under set weights with penalties conditions, for horses aged three years old, over a distance of 2020 metres held at Doomben Racecourse in Brisbane, Australia during the Queensland Winter Racing Carnival. Total prize money is A$150,000. ==Race history== The race is considered by many to be the major prep leadup up event for the Group 1 Queensland Derby.〔 When the race was held at Eagle Farm it was held in late May or early June.
